The location and the rooms were a good size
The room was freezing cold and the heater blew out cold air, the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned and only having enough coffee milk for one drink was poor.

Location is excellent and the hotel is good value for money.
The hotel has clearly been taken over in the past few months and the new management are appalling. Policies have changed with no forewarning and the front desk staff were scruffy and incredibly unhelpful. Having stayed here several times before and never encountered any issues, this has totally changed my opinion of the place. So much so, in fact, my boyfriend and I had booked to stay here for New Years Eve this year and have subsequently cancelled the booking.
